Los Angeles runs on garage doors that were installed decades apart on the same street. What they have in common is that when one stops working, the car is stuck behind it and the day stops with it.

Broken torsion and extension springs replaced in matched pairs, rated for your door's actual weight.
Motors, boards, gears and safety sensors diagnosed, plus quiet modern belt-drive and smart openers installed.
Frayed or snapped lift cables replaced in pairs, drums re-seated and the counterbalance rebalanced.
Doors that jumped the track secured, the cause fixed, and the door re-railed and safety tested.
Noisy, crooked, slow or half-reversing doors diagnosed across the whole system rather than one part.
Insulated steel, glass and custom doors measured and fitted, with the old door hauled away.
Most of our Los Angeles calls start with an opener rather than a door. The remote clicks and nothing happens, or the motor runs and the door does not move, or the whole thing worked yesterday and today the wall button is dead. Those are three different faults with three different fixes, and it is worth knowing which one you have before anyone starts pulling the unit off the ceiling.
The other thing that shapes work here is getting to you. Hillside streets, permit-parking blocks, gated communities and alley-facing garages all change how we stage a truck and how long the visit takes. Tell us the cross streets and whether the garage faces the street or an alley when you call, and the technician arrives set up for what is actually there.

Describe what the door is doing. We can usually narrow the cause down on the phone.
A technician reaches your Los Angeles property with the common parts already on the truck.
We complete the repair, run the door through full cycles, and test the safety reverse.
Usually a stripped drive gear or a disconnected trolley. If the opener hums or runs its full cycle while the door stays put, the motor has lost its grip on the door rather than lost power. It is a common repair and it does not mean you need a whole new opener.
Every opener has a manual release, normally a red cord hanging from the trolley rail. Pulling it disconnects the door from the opener so it can be lifted by hand. Only do this if the door is closed and the springs are intact. If the door feels extremely heavy or you heard a bang earlier, leave it alone and call, because that is a spring failure and lifting it by hand is how people get hurt.
Yes. HomeLink and similar in-car systems need to be paired with the opener, and on newer rolling-code units there is an extra step at the motor head that most owner's manuals explain badly. We do it as part of the visit.
Tell us what the door is doing and we will get a technician booked in.
